Hi friends! I wanted to start a little series called “rainy days and coffee talk”. Mental Health is what led me to start this blog in the first place. Writing down my thoughts has long been my coping mechanism and helps me tremendously.
Rainy days and coffee talk will basically be a mental health journaling challenge that I will publish every friday to reflect on everything that can be applied to Mental Health. I will mainly focus on wellness, self improvement , minimalism and simple living as that’s what this blog is all about.
Something that made you sad this week?
I lost my wallet on my way to work this week. I’ve never had that happened to me before and I only felt sad about it because of the 200 dollars I had in there. It made me sad that I worked so hard for that and I lost it because of my carelessness.
Something that made you happy this week?
Finding that wallet! I ended up calling my credit card company to inform them and they suggested that I file a police report. Crazy enough, the police station ACTUALLY had the wallet!! To say I was happy is an understatement. I rushed there as soon as I could and nothing had been taken out of it. There are truly good people in this world.
Something you’re looking forward to next week?
I don’t have any plans for next week but looking at the forecast, I’m definitely looking forward to warm weather. Spring has taken way too long to get to New England.
Something you’re thankful for?
I’m thankful that there are good people in this world. After I’d lost my wallet, I was praying that an angel would find it and send it to me. I got my request and I’ve never been so thankful.
Fun question: Somewhere you’d like to move or visit?
I would really love to go to Japan. I love how rich the culture is and I’d love to experience it in real time.
