If you are interested in using less toxic ingredients and making your home more natural – I’ve got great news! Simply Earth sent me their April recipe box at no cost to review so these opinions are all my own!
We all know how toxic cleaning products are. Think about all the ones that you use in your everyday life. Laundry detergents, hand soaps, surface cleaners, stain removers, etc. All of these contain harmful ingredients and fumes that are terrible for our health, skin and the environment. What if you were able to create your own detergents at home and make them all natural? Simply Earth makes it easy for you with April’s essential oil recipe box!
The great thing about Simply Earth is that every month is a different theme so you don’t have to worry about getting the same box twice. For the month of April, their recipe box includes 4 essential oils and additional items to make the recipes which I will go over below.
Simply Earth also donates 13% of their profits to organizations that help fight human trafficking. That is a great cause to be a part of so when you shop their recipe box, you’re helping make a difference!! Learn more about the organization they are currently partnering with here.
What’s in Simply Earth’s April Recipe Box
Lemon has a citrus and uplifting aroma. This oil has properties that makes it a great addition in cleaning solutions. After using this with the surface cleaner, the aroma left my desk smelling fresh and cleansed.
BO Be Gone has a fresh and sweet orange tone to it. The original purpose of this blend is for body odor but I find it perfect to diffuse when you’re cleaning. Makes you want to be more productive!
Nutmeg has a very woody tone to and reminds me a bit of cedar wood. I like this oil because it tones down the citrus scent of the other oils a bit to make a more natural and fresh scent.
Tea Tree has a bit of a minty and earthy scent. While it isn’t my favorite by itself, blending it with the lemon essential oil for the surface cleaner does make a nice clean smell.
The cost of this recipe box is only $39!! Can you believe that? Where else would you get 4 quality oils and additional ingredients for that price?! If you use my code ASHDERENFREE when you order a box, you get to receive a $20 eGift card to put towards other oils you might want to purchase from them. You also get to receive a Big Bonus box valued at $40 for FREE that includes what you need to make the recipes. If you just want to get a few oils, you can still use the code to get a FREE additional essential oil! And if you decide to subscribe for a subscription box every month, you can cancel at ANYTIME at no cost to you. Simply Earth is not MLM which makes it really easy to do that!
There are five other recipes included in the box which teach you how to make a dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, hand soaps, stain removers and cleaning blends. The box also includes spray bottle, Castile soap, and labels to add to your recipe bottles.
